Conclusion

This project took a very long time, but it was also a lot of fun.  The research that we had to do taught me everything I know now about robotics.  It was very interesting and I feel vastly informed.  I knew nothing about robots but now I know a whole lot.

It was very interesting learning about the impact the robots have had on the job industry in recent years.  They seem like they are the only workers in factories around the country.  All of the bigger companies cannot survive and compete with other huge companies without the production of robotics.  This get work done faster but it also results in the loss of jobs for people who cannot work as fast as the robots. This is very sad because today in America the unemployment rate is rising significantly. The unemployment rate is rising somewhat because of robotics.  People need jobs and money and if they do not have those then that means there are more and more homeless people. This is why welfare is where it is now.

There capabilities in this day of age have increased significantly.  They can do almost anything you ask them to. They can vacuum, pick up toys, mow, and clean up the kids’ mess. They can spy in the military branches and also fight for us.  In space, they can study the universe where humans cannot go to due to our limitations. Also in the ocean they can study the ocean floor.  In the medical field, they can work in contaminated areas and do surgery. They can be security for people. They can weld and paint.

Overall, I am glad we got the opportunity to do this project. I learned about the future of robotics and what the risks and rewards they are for us.
