John Calipari and Kentucky



I read an article today on www.espn.com named "The Gospel of John Calipari" by Jason King. If you dont know who John Calipari is, you must live under a rock! He is the head basketball coach for the University of Kentucky. The article is all about how Kentucky is still the premier place to go if your a 5-star recruit. Coming to Lexington is the fastest, most beneficial way to get you to the NBA.

Calipari has had several telethons. Through him, there has been built a new dorm for the basketball players. Also, a renovation for Rupp Arena is in the works. He has said plenty of times that its not about making good basketball players, it's about changing lives.

There are many reasons why John Calipari and Kentucky are just plain better than every other school in the nation:

• First, Calipari has proven he can develop you into a lottery pick in the NBA draft. If your a good player with some talent and hard work then he will make you into a great player with millions of dollars.
• Second, John is friends with celebrities like Ben Roethlisberger, Mike Tomlin (Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback and coach), LeBron James, Kevin Durant (the two best players in the NBA),Wale, Jay-Z, Drake (rappers), and Josh Hopkins, Ashley Judd, and Charlie Sheen (actors). And you cant forget about former players of Calipari like Marcus Camby, Derrick Rose, John Wall, Brandon Knight, and Anthony Davis just to name a few. High school players would love to meet them! 
• Lastly, he has a national championship to show for and every high school recruit wants to be the best and to win championships.

Kentucky has truly been turned into a fantastic destination for stud high school players who want to play in the NBA.

John Calipari is a perfect fit for the University of Kentucky.

Kentucky Basketball Forum

This week I will write about about an online forum. I went to a kentucky basketball forum. In fact it was if you want the weblink it is www.kentuckybasketballforum.com. I thought it was very interesting. Of course, I absolutely love Kentucky basketball. last year they won the national championship and this year they start from scratch. the setup for this forum was pretty good. at the top of the webpage there were four main links you could click. there were home, about, forum, and contact. the home page was all of the posts. the about page was just there their origin and where they would like to go with the forum. the forum page was giving other forums names. they were put in categories: all things kentucky, non kenucky, and everything else. the contact page was how you could contact them to make the website better and if you had anything that they would like to post. it also has on the right side of the screen the schedule, roster, and the nba cats. i really like the nba cats feature because you could go there and learn what the NBA cats are doing in the league for their career and for the ongoing season just with the click of a button. this is an up and coming website. it just started so it does not have many members. it only has 14 members but on the bright side it has 211 likes for facebook. the posts were set up like a popular website named www.kentuckysportsradio.com. i am sure this website will be popular and successful in the future after it hits the ground running. it has all the potential in the world to turn into a great forum.
